St Patrick's Day 2009

My Mom's club had a little St patrick's day party so we went. Jake wore these for about 30 seconds, just long enough for my friend Anna to get these pictures! He is so cute and such a little model. I really should find him an agent!

Snow Day

We had a big snow storm come in on Monday and dump about 8 inches. This was Jake's first time in the snow. It was so cold and he doesn't have any snow gear yet, so we bundled him up in his warmest clothes and took him out. He walked around a bit, then fell a few times and he was done. Overall, not much of a success.

Jake's 1st Birthday (Take 2)

For Jake's birthday my mom and Gary flew in and our family friend Sally drove down from Boston. It was so great having family here for Jake's big day. Sally came when Jake was 3 days old, so it seems we have started a new tradition. We had such a great time and even though this first picture doesn't look like it, we had great weather!

This is what my backyard looked like the day my mom flew in. We got a huge snow storm the night before and I was worried that she wouldn't make it...but she did!

My mom got here Wednesday and we had a few days to hang out together. By Saturday everyone was here so we went to Peddler's Village to hang out.

On Sunday (Jake's Birthday!!) We went out to breakfast at this great restaurant in Lambertville, NJ. It is a cool little town full of art galleries and antique shops.

For Jake's second birthday party we had a few of my friends over and Mike's parents. My mom made chicken pot pie and Sally and I made cupcakes

We had such a great weekend and I miss everyone so much already! Jake is a very blessed baby and we were so happy everyone was here!!

Jake's 1st Birthday Party

Jake was about to turn one and we needed to have a party! We invited the whole family over to Mike's parents' house and had cake and pizza.

Jake's Own Candy Bar

For Jake's birthday party I wanted to have a fun, but easy party favor. I remembered that Mike's aunt can print up candybar wrappers. So I asked for her help. I have been trying to get a good picture of him for the front of it, but Jake had been sick for almost two weeks. Finally last night I got a few. My house is so light that with a flash Jake gets washed out, but you can't miss those blue eyes and that HUGE smile. Just wanted to post my favorites.

January

I just wanted to get a few pictures on from this month. Jake's 1st birthday party is this Saturday,( I can NOT believe he is already one!!!) so I will have plenty more then.

Jake has always given me kisses (open mouthed drooly kisses)
but he just started giving them to Mike.

Jake also wants to feed himself now and so when we eat, Jake has to hold a spoon too.

This is one of my favorite pictures. I love how happy he is.

This is the only place Jake wants to sit. He has a ton of toys and a nice play area, but he likes it here. So many people commented on this picture from our Christmas card. I have a dozen just like this one. We feel bad for Molly. This is the only thing that is her's in the whole house and Jake is trying to take it over.
