Memorial Day

This was Jake's first Memorial Day and his first parade. Our town's parade comes right down our street so we can't help but watch it. It was a beautiful day and although Mike ran around like crazy trying to get our yard in shape before the parade, we had a great time. Mike's mom gave Jake a flag and he was not about to let go of it! He tried to eat it a few times, but for the most part it looked like he was waving it.

Also, I got this new chair that Jake loves! If you are expecting or have recently had a child, or two, I highly recommend it. Jake will sit in it for a long time and it supports him nicely! It is called a Bumbo chair. I am sure that many of you have heard of it, but if you haven't...it's the best!
Hope you all are great! Mike and I are still coming home in August, even though I just started pricing tickets and it almost didn't happen. I can't believe how expensive it is!

Love to you all...

Jake's cutey outfit

While we were in Seattle, my mom's neighbor gave us a present. They are a like leg warmers, but go up all the way to the diaper. I thought they were funny looking and would be great for a little girl instead of wearing tights, but for a boy would look weird. I was right, they look funny, but oh so adorable. Mike was at work one day and Jake had peed through his outfit, so I wanted to put him in something just until I gave him a bath. I found his adorable Seattle onsie that Maria bought him and the "leg warmers." Mike was hysterical and we sent off many pics to Grammy.
I call it his Seattle look...
